Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo on the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also teaches drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory when she was at rehearsals for play together with her mother. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. She then relocated in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. They were married in Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk gave birth to a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the finale of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to the fans in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on June 20, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for the Fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) as one of their top TV couple. Entertainment Television.
